Today, we got introduced a group project. I was assighned the job to further research my poem. Our poem was Nothing Gold Can Stay. I found it a little confusing but after analyzing it and making a connection to the different seasons I understood it. Today i had a productive and good day.
October 26
Presenting was much more smooth than I thought it would be. Everything went in my group and I felt that we got everyone to understand our poem. When it came to the other groups I felt I understood their poems quite well. I enjoyed the poem After Apple Picking the most.
October 13
Today we did the unpopular opinion assignment. We learned how to make claims on agreeing and disagreeing on topics. We also learned how to make a compromise claim. Today, I got better at writing claims. It was a good day
October 11
Today we worked out of the vocabulary book. We wrote down the vocabulary words in our notes then did the assignment. I was very on task today and got my work done fast with time to spare to do whatever I want for the last 10-15 minutes of class. I learned a lot of new vocabulary words today and felt accomplished. Today was a good day.
Oct 5
Today we got to class and we took a vocabulary quiz. It was very easy because we were aloud to use our notes. Then we wrote down our new vocabulary notes in our notebook and did two exercises in the vocabulary book. I got my work done pretty fast and had time to go on my phone and relax. Today was a good day!

Today we took notes on argumentative essays and we read two texts. They were about self driving vehicles. After todays lesson I can indentify claims much easier. I like it a lot when class is interactive with the entire class. Today was a good day:).
September 29
Today we finished the benchmark test. It was quite boring. I had to do a lot of writing and I didnt have time to finish. I extremly disliked taking the benchmark but i know it is required so I still tried my best even though I didnt finish the test. Overall today wasnt the best.
September 28
Today we had a very nice sub in class. We independently worked on an assighnment out of a textbook. Doing work out of the textbook wasnt enjoyable but it is what it is. I learned a lot of new vocabulary words. Overall today wasn't good but it wasnt bad.
